This early 3.8-litre Coupé is a left-hand-drive example originally delivered to New York. Importantly, the car is “full matching,” equipped with its original engine. In 2019, the Etype has benefited from a comprehensive restoration carried out in France by Provost Automobiles in Le Mans, a recognised specialist. The current Belgian owner acquired the vehicle from them, in like-new condition. Since then, further improvements have been made to enhance usability and driving comfort, including upgraded braking performance and the installation of a 3.07 ratio differential (“pont long”), allowing for smoother and more relaxed driving characteristics, particularly at higher speeds. Under the bonnet, the car is powered by its original 3.8-litre straight-six engine, paired with the 4-speed Moss gearbox and four-wheel disc brakes.
