Annotations du vendeur

This Talbot 90 first appeared as a single-seater specially built by the factory for racing at Brooklands, it began racing in 1930, managed by Arthur Fox from the famed Fox and Nicholl racing team, and achieved numerous successes including 1st in Class at the 500 mile Brooklands race. It set records in October with drivers Brian Lewis and Johnny Hindmarsh. again with Fox & Nicholl it earned top-four finishes in 1931. In 1932, it was rebuilt as a two seater with the body it carries today and continued to perform well. in 1934, it was remodeled and raced until the late 1940s. Notable recent races include Donington, Nurburgring, and Le Mans. This Talbot 90 remains celebrated in vintage racing circles. Remarkable racing history which is all documented from the first to the last race, and from 1930 to 2025. Brooklands 500 Mile class winner with a lap speed of 103 miles per hour average for the entire lap. Exceptionally original and in fantastic condition ready for it's next outing, wherever that may be. Engine built with new steel crankshaft, new steel connecting rods, newly designed camshaft, and about twice the power of a standard Talbot 90. Extremely reliable and easy to maintain and drive. Superb handling and amazing brakes for a prewar car. Hood and side wind deflectors mean it can also be used in bad weather. Featuring a four speed preselector gearbox and superb torque and power mean this car is a formidable race and rally car whatever the event you intend to enter, Race or rally it will perform to your delight. For such a fast and sporty car the suspension is surprisingly subtle, meaning no complaints from the ladies for giving them a "seating problem" A happy codriver means a happy driver at the end of the day. Come and be amazed by this wonderful machine.
